Mentoring
When I started offering mentorships, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed coaching and teaching. This has quickly become one of my favorite ways to support fellow photographers growing their businesses, styles, and clientele.
My goal is to share my 7+ years of experience and knowledge to empower you behind the camera and laptop. I hope to leave you with pages of notes, challenging ideas, and a continued fire to capture the people and world around you.
Shooting.
$360
The most popular of mentorships I offer! First, we will meet up and discuss how I prepare for a session, followed by a 30-minute shoot with clients. I usually do a model call for a couple or individuals who don’t have a lot of camera experience to ensure it’s realistic to a shoot you and I would normally book!
After the shoot, we will sit down for 30-45 minutes and debrief. We may look through photos, discuss obstacles you’ve faced in posing/shooting, etc.
As a part of the mentorship, I include the UNPOSED Field Guide. The purpose of this session will be for you to observe and learn how to photograph UNPOSED.
Coaching.
$300
Let’s meet up! Over the phone or in person at a coffee shop, this is a time we will problem solve and discuss your work. We can talk about how to book, price, brand, or setting up a regular workflow.
Before we meet, you can write up a list of questions/topics you want to cover during our time. I am a firm believer in community over competition and will be as honest as possible.
Editing.
$200
One of the key factors to evolve as a professional photographer comes down to consistency in editing style, but figuring out all the tools in lightroom can be overwhelming.
Your goal editing style can be very different than my own, but understanding how to get there all comes down to learning all the sliders and effects. During this time, we will focus on specific questions and obstacles you are facing in your editing.
